Air India flight had to return to Delhi, it was going to Indonesia; Volcanic eruption was the reason

An Air India flight from New Delhi to Indonesia had to return to the capital mid-way. After a safe landing here, all the passengers have been disembarked.

Mumbai: Another Air India flight from India to Indonesia had to divert its route. This flight had to return to New Delhi mid-way. Actually, the Air India flight had to return to Delhi due to volcanic eruption near Bali airport in Indonesia. It was going from the capital to Bali.

Air India said that the flight landed safely back to Delhi and all the passengers were disembarked from the plane. The statement said, “On June 18, Air India flight AI2145 from Delhi to Bali was advised to return to Delhi from safety point of view due to reports of volcanic eruption near Bali airport.” Air India said that the passengers have been provided with hotel accommodation. Also, the passengers are being given the facility of full refund on cancellation of ticket or rescheduling of travel without additional charge. (PTI)
