Housefull 5: A Funny Cruise with a Murderous Undertone
Housefull 5 is an upcoming Indian Hindi-language comedy thriller film, co-written and directed by Tarun Mansukhani. Produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, Warda Nadiadwala, and Firuzi Khan under the banner Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment, it marks the fifth installment in the popular Housefull franchise. The film features an ensemble cast including Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh, Abhishek Bachchan, Jacqueline Fernandez, Sonam Bajwa, Nargis Fakhri, Sanjay Dutt, Jackie Shroff, Nana Patekar, Chitrangada Singh, Fardeen Khan, Chunky Pandey, Johnny Lever, Shreyas Talpade, Dino Morea, Ranjeet, Soundarya Sharma, Nikitin Dheer, and Akashdeep Sabir.
Initially slated for release during Diwali 2024, the film’s release was postponed to June 6, 2025, to ensure the incorporation of top-notch visual effects.
A murder takes place on a lavish cruise ship where the movie’s plot takes place, transforming the typical humorous pandemonium into an exciting “murder comedy.” This unexpected twist is introduced in the teaser, which was released on April 30, 2025, which also happened to be the first Housefull movie’s 15th anniversary.
