Governance, Operation Sindoor, and the caste census are the main topics of discussion during the National Democratic Alliance’s (NDA) daylong conference of chief ministers and deputy chief ministers.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi and a number of other senior Union Ministers are attending the one-day meeting, which has started in New Delhi.
The meeting is being attended by about 20 chief ministers and 18 deputy chief ministers from states that are ruled by the NDA. Senior BJP leaders like Party President JP Nadda, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, and Home Minister Amit Shah have also arrived at the Ashok Hotel in the national capital, where the meeting is being held.
